Three ophthalmologists, two optometrists and over 30 highly skilled staff members serving the Twin Cities with offices in Downtown Minneapolis, Northeast Minneapolis and Osseo.

Eye Care Associates has been providing personalized ophthalmic care to our patients for decades. Many of our doctors are researchers and professors, and some were among the founders of the world-renowned Phillips Eye Institute.

Our care extends from infants to the elderly. We diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular disorders, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye problems, corneal disorders and eye infections.

We utilize the most advanced laser vision and refractive surgery techniques. We have performed tens of thousands of ophthalmic surgeries and our care includes cataract and implant surgery, laser vision correction, glaucoma, eyelid and cosmetic oculoplastic surgery.

Eye Care Associates was formed in 1995 in Minneapolis, but we have a history of practicing ophthalmic care services that dates back more than 40 years.

Dear Patients of Eye Care Associates,

Minnesotans have done a tremendous job over the past few weeks to reduce transmission of COVID-19. The doctors at Eye Care Associates have only been seeing patients that have urgent eye care needs. Many of you have had your appointments cancelled and now find that you need to get in to see us for a variety of medical reasons.

Patients with eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and others that can't safely wait to be seen are now allowed to schedule. In addition, some patients are not seeing well with their current glasses and need an update to allow them to function safely. We are open for you also. If you feel you need to be seen for any reason and are willing to come, we will see you. Our Contact Lens department and Optical, shops are open and will have staff available to assist you, they are following the same safety precautions. CLICK HERE to read more!

We have been working very hard to ensure that your care will be provided as safely as possible. While we hope to someday welcome you back to a bustling clinic, at this time our lobby atmosphere will be much quieter.

We look forward to seeing you! Please call 612-338-4861 to make an appointment.

Sincerely,
Eye Care Associates

We are excited to announce that as of May 4th, our clinics and optical departments will be back open. Our team has been working diligently to make sure all areas of the practice are safe and clean for our patients to return. For the health and safety of our patients and team, we ask you to wear a mask when entering the practice. We will also have special hours for our practices to make sure we are cleaning in-between visits and limiting the number of patients and staff in our practices at one time.

Our downtown and Northeast location will be open Monday through Friday, while our Park Ave location will be open a few days a week. Our clinics will be open at 8:00 AM, and our optical departments will be starting at 8:30 AM. Please call ahead of your visit so our team can be prepared once you arrive.

We have missed seeing you in our practices and can’t wait to hear how you are doing.

Thank you,
The Eye Care Associates Team
